Samples Received/Redeemed: 01 Oct - 04 Oct 2013

Actually, I don't feel that these past 2 weeks or so have been productive in terms of freebies and samples. In terms of samples being mailed to me, sure, I did received at least one but I think that's about it. As for samples collection, let's just say I went on ahead and choose Jem only to have Jem forced to close for a short while due to falling ceilings and whatnots.

Vaseline has been hosting their sampling activity every once in a while. If you have missed the previous one, don't miss out on this round's :D

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: Go over to Vaseline Facebook page at, Like their page as a fan first. Next, look for an app called What's New, click on it and wait for the page to load. After that, just fill in your details and wait for the 25ml sample to arrive in your mailbox.

The Body Shop
So, The Body Shop previously released their Honeymania range and of course, I set my eyes on this range for a week or 2 already. Mufufufu~

The Body Shop
Featured in the above photo are:

  • Honeymania Shower Gel - 250ml
  • Honeymania Body Butter - 200ml
  • Honeymania Eau De Toilette - 30ml

The Body Shop
And along the way, I decided to grab:

  • Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo - 400ml
  • Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Wash - 100ml

The Body Shop
And for spending at least S$80 or S$90, I get to receive this:

  • The Body Shop Green & White Mini-Tote Bag
  • Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel - 60ml
  • Natrulift Firming Night Cream - 15ml
  • Sweet Lemon Hand Wash - 250ml

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: The Body Shop do have sample sachets to bring home and try at their outlets too. Just ask~

The Face Shop just recently opened a new outlet at the Shopping Mall near my neighborhood and I decided to check it out. And was promptly persuaded to part with close to S$70 in total, apparently, I still need another S$30 within 30 days to get a membership card. Wonder if it's a Lifetime membership card or yearly?

The Face Shop
Bought these and received a tissue paper holder and a pack of samples:

  • Chia Seed Water 100 - 80ml
  • Rice Water Bright Rice Bran Cleansing Foam - 150ml
  • Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam Peach - 170ml
  • Naraya Tissue Holder - Spend X amount and get a freebie, since I spent S$60, I got the tissue holder

The Face Shop
Samples received:

  • Baby Face Hydrogel Mask Hyaluronic Acid / Baby Face Sleeping Mask Aqua Drop Pack - 5ml
  • Chia Seed Sebum Control Moisture Cream - 2ml

The Face Shop
  • Acne Solution Foam Cleansing - 1ml
  • Flebote White Crystal Luxury Eye Serum - 1ml

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: Since it's a pack, I'm guessing that all the samples given out should be the same for everyone or at least until it runs out. I'm not sure how much you need to purchase to get the samples, but I don't think they would be so stingy to insist that you need to spend a specific amount for that either. Most of their products can be samples at their outlets although I'm not sure if they have standalone sample sachets for you to bring home and try :O

Why not like my Facebook page at to be informed of latest samples I found, which is duly updated? Also includes updates to health, beauty & lifestyle tips at least once a day. It will definitely save you the trouble of having to hunt them down :)

  1. I read your comment on another blog about camera muggers. I agree with you. I have experienced the same issue. My blogs are content driven but I have found that popular blogs focus on photos rather than writing. Your blog is informative. You really focus on informing the reader. I hope you stop by my blog if you have an opportunity.

    1. Dear Sharon Pate,

I'm so glad to received your comment on my blog. Finally, someone who understands my pain in trying to be an informative blogger. Let's carry on our best to write up content-quality posts, instead of photo-based blogs.

      Pu Niao :D

Thank you for commenting on Pu Niao's Beauty Junkie Reviews, a personal blog on Beauty-related stuffs. Kindly note that I will reciprocate as soon as I possibly can, unless:

1. I'm not online (probably dead asleep and possibly drooling)

2. Got blindsided by free candy (where did that came from?)

3. Cannot find your comment box cos I am actually blind as a bat most times (-squints- *_* -blinks-)

1. Kindly avoid promotional/non-sense/unrelated comments or demands as this can be reason for deletion of your comments.

2. Avoid commenting with "nice post"/"thanks for sharing", or the likes. Kindly just read the post and comment something about it.

3. Replying with some facts/rumors or other info related to the post is well appreciated too.

Your comments always make my day(s) feel special and appreciated and each comment will be followed up as well. Thank you and have a wonderful day ahead~
