Monthly Topic #18: Office Romances

You spend at least eight hours a day there. So it's inevitable that you're going to meet men at work. Here's some advice on doing it right.

Forget it (and him) if:

  • He can help you get ahead. Avoid your boss or someone in an influential position (who signs reviews, authorises pay rises or promotions). If it's genuine, one of you will have to leave.
  • He's related to your boss. Dump him later at your own risk.
  • He's married. If you want “sneaky, dishonest and disrespectful” instantly added to your resume, go right ahead.
  • You're the boss, and he works in the mailroom / is12 years younger than yourself. Another instant authority stripper, you'll be seen as being a slave of your libido (everyone will assume it's sex, which it usually it...) and lacking good judgement. No one's saying that these reactions are justified, it's just letting you know what you're in for.
  • You're the fifth person he's dated in the office. Even if he does have a smile so bright they could light up a small town during a blackout, resist. You'll instantly alienate the other exes (who could've cried on your shoulder) and again, people will doubt your judgement. He's a bastard, why can't you see it?

You have the green light if:

  • He's on a similar status level to you or work in a department that's not connected with yours in any way. A co-worker in the true sense of the word.
  • None of the above “forget it” reasons apply.
  • It really is true love. We're all romantics at heart. Even if the odds are agaisnt you and feathers are ruffled initially, if time proves that it wa actually love, and not simply lust, that brought you together, you might even decide to invite the whole team ti the wedding dinner.

Monthly Topic #17: Top 3 turn-offs

No one is trying to be passion killers, but someone just had to say something about those annoying habits some couples have of totally grossing out everyone around them.

  • It's cool when a couple are so in much love that they are oblivious to the people around them, and totally mesmerised with one another. It's NOT cool when they treat the people around them with disregard, groping one another's butts in the shopping malls, tongue locking on the escalator and grabbing at each other's private areas. Save that kind of behavior for the bedroom, OK?
  • When couples start picking the blackheads from one another's faces and backs – in public. And then they start showing each other the products of the excavations. Urgh! Like monkeys picking ticks from one another, it may be considered a mating ritual for a few, but please, keep it behind closed doors!
  • Don't you hate it when people send in dedications to radio request shows, declaring a track to “My smoochy, woochy, poo bums honey bunchikins who I will love 'till the end of the world”. Eeeeek! Perhaps they don't realise how bad it sounds until the poor DJ has to read it out!

The Skin Shop LUS Aqua Source Cream [Sponsored] Review

This review is proudly sponsored and brought to you by The Skin Shop Singapore, introducing their latest product ❤❤❤. Any external images, if used, solely belong to their respective owners and not to me. I only re-link and use them as part of this review.

Note that all views presented here are of my own and whether the product is sponsored or not, it's honest throughout. Only that effects will vary on the individual when applied.

WHAT IS IT: LUS Aqua Source Cream
LUS Aqua Source Cream

THE PRODUCT(S):
LUS Aqua Source Cream
LUS Aqua Source Cream: LUS Aqua source Cream is a highly moisturizing cream keeping skin soft and silky by retaining moisture of the skin long enough, offering dual moisturizing effect to skin with water drops freshly popping up.

LUS Aqua Source Cream
It comes in a pump nozzle form, so it's actually easy to dispense out the appropriate amount needed without having anything go to waste :D

LUS Aqua Source Cream
The product itself actually looks thick, but I find that gentle massaging into the skin doesn't take too long before everything gets thoroughly absorbed into the skin.

LUS Aqua Source Cream
Here's how the product looks like when I start to spread it around.

LUS Aqua Source Cream
Do you see the water droplets just before the product sinks into my skin? Awesome, right? :D At the last step of your basic care, apply a proper amount on the entire face for moisturizing ingredients to be absorbed into your skin and smoothly apply it from inward to outward direction for absorption. In other words, this product is used as the final step of your skincare regime. I'll get to this in a moment's time~

VERDICT: Firstly, when I first dispense a pump-ful of this product out, I was amazed at the scent it gave out. It wasn't overly strong, thank goodness for that, it's actually like a whiff of freshness from a light breeze. Is how I would describe the scent, to sum it up. It isn't too cloying nor too strong at all for my nose, and best of all, I like how the scent doesn't linger on too long either. It's kinda awkward to go to bed and in the middle of the night, you suddenly catch a whiff of your skincare products wafting to your nose, which promptly cause bleary-eyed you to wake up and wonder "What's that scent ah??" and proceed to think and ponder and well, you're full awake from all that pondering and thinking :/

Texture and consistency wise, it looks really thick and opaque as soon as it is dispensed out. And despite the product still looking thick and creamy when spread around my skin initially, it slowly spreads evenly and sink into my skin without too much hard work needed, almost like water. I simply have this peeve for products that seemingly look lightweight but took me ages to thoroughly spread and massage into my skin, and ended up having the product look as if it's halfway absorbed into my skin and promptly gave up in absorbing anymore. But not with this LUS Aqua Source Cream! In short, it looks like thick and creamy, but feels like a really lightweight lotion, even more lightweight than any products I've tried and tested so far. And yet, it sinks right into the skin like water.

Because right as soon as you start massaging the product into your skin, it immediately formed these water droplets right smack on the surface of your skin. This actually made me feel tempted to dispense and apply another layer, repeatedly. I'm actually a sucker for products that not only pops up water droplets when applied, but especially products like these that also helps with my angsty skin sometimes. Despite the product feeling a little sticky upon o, the stickiness fades away before I even realize it and instantly, I can see my skin looking more moisturized.

Prior to using this, my regular skincare products doesn't seem to be working well on my skin so I was a little halfway to giving up. Until I got a chance to try and review this product. Right as soon as I got this, I immediately used it the same night and has been religiously using this every night before I plopped right into bed. Despite my usual sleeping habit of tossing and turning all over in my bed, I am pleasantly surprised to find my pillow not looking like I had drowned it on facial products. Which I think is rare, in my case ^^;

As a final note, I have to say that although I do not combination skin, I don't feel this product fare any worse at all. Instead, the oily areas of my skin feels slightly better than before as I noticed that it was less oily than before. And the dry areas of my skin are basically thankful for the moisturization that is being able to be locked in. Let's just say that when I woke up in the morning, my face doesn't feel oily at all, something that is astonishing as I always wake up with an oily face in the morning due to the amount of products I put on my face before bed.

The general recommended method to applying this product is to only use it at the very end of your skincare regime, be it day or night. Just like how certain brand's boosting essence is to be used at the very start of your skincare regime to prep your skin for more thorough absorption of the products you are to apply on. Using this at the very end of your skincare regime actually helps lock in the products applied so they don't end up getting smeared around and having all your "hard work" go to waste. Application is relatively simple and easy, apply from inward to outward direction to ensure 100% full coverage :D

My regular skincare regime, after receiving this LUS Aqua Source Cream before I plopped to bed goes like this:

  • Chia Seed Water 100 Boosting Essence
  • Su Hyang Snow Boosting Toner
  • Su Hyang Snow Balancing Fluid
  • The Body Shop Natrulift Refreshing Eye Roll-On
  • LUS Aqua Source Cream
  • The Body Shop Pink Guava Lip Balm
  • AFC Japan Collagen Beauty caplets

VERDICT: ✓✓✓

WHAT I THINK: This is definitely that ONE product I die die must have and include in my skincare regime nightly. It looks heavy, but feels lightweight and absorbs like water. And I mean, literally sinks into my skin while having water droplets show up, like literally. And I dare say, my skin looks and feels better recently. My acne/pimples are a little more stable now, instead of the usual "I popped up on your skin and I forgot what I'm supposed to do while sitting on your face" scenario. My skin actually even heals pretty decently now, after my acne/pimple episode, with lesser scarring than before.

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: Not particularly sure, since I seldom go into any skincare stores. Not that I don't, it's just that I tend to buy a little more so I can avoid the crowds ^^; But note that LUS Aqua Source Cream is retailing at only $39.90 on their website over at http://www.theskinshop.sg/lus-cosmetics/46-lus-aqua-source-serum.html. I am definitely getting a new bottle at the end of this month (when I get my paycheck ^^).

The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream SPF15 Review

WHAT IS IT: The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream SPF15
The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream SPF15

THE PRODUCT(S):
The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream SPF15
The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream SPF15: This daily hand cream with rosehip oil provides much needed moisture to mature skin while helping to reduce the appearance of brown spots.

The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream SPF15
It smells really strong of rose when initially applied, but the scent slowly dissipates until it doesn't make you feel nauseous at all. Every now and then, you get a whiff of roses. But, if you're having a headache, migraine or feeling slightly dizzy, the rose scent might get to you and make you feel a little nauseous though.

The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream SPF15
It is really creamy, but it doesn't take too much effort and trouble to massage it into my skin. And it doesn't even feel oily at all.

VERDICT: First of all, the hand cream itself looks so rich, thick and creamy but it doesn't require too much effort and trouble to massage into the skin. The downside is that, it doesn't spread too easily at first. So, you definitely need to take a little time to spread it around your hands for overall coverage. And the good part is that it leave this greasy/oily sensation after application.

Despite the rose scent of this product being strong initially, it slowly dissipates after application and it doesn't smell that strong of roses after application. The scent might not be for you if you are someone who dislikes those rose-y scented hand cream. Although I personally have to admit that once applied, it gradually slowly sinks into the skin and you can instantly see your skin feeling and looking much more moisturized immediately after application.

It doesn't leave this chalky white residue after application, which I have to grateful for and if I were to compare this hand cream to other hand cream I've tried and used before, it might pale a little in comparison. Despite the description stating that it helps to reduce the appearance of brown spots, I found that it doesn't fade some old discolored scars on my hands at all. And get this straight, I always apply hand cream on my skins all the way to my elbows before going to bed each night. As for the SPF part, I don't really see much of a difference at all since my hands look pretty much the same skintone before I started using this.

VERDICT: ✓✓

WHAT I THINK: Unfortunately, this doesn't really aid in the reduction of brown spots. I'm presuming that you need to use this for much longer periods to actually see the difference. Plus points for being so rich and creamy but yet effortless to apply.

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: So far, there's no sample sachet for this hand cream. But you can pop by any TBS outlet in Singapore to give this hand cream a try instead.

Tsaio Grapefruit Seed Pimple Cream Review

WHAT IS IT: Tsaio Grapefruit Seed Pimple Cream
Tsaio Grapefruit Seed Pimple Cream

THE PRODUCT(S):
Tsaio Grapefruit Seed Pimple Cream
Tsaio Grapefruit Seed Pimple Cream: Smooth and creamy-like texture, this tightens and smooths pores without leaving the surrounding skin dry. (Note: There's no direct English translation and I tried my best to translate in a way that is actually understandable. It's a shame that Tsaio originated from Taiwan, where Mandarin is much more stronger than English hence, all descriptions are either in Mandarin or non-existent.)

Tsaio Grapefruit Seed Pimple Cream
This product has a fruit grapefruit scent upon breaking the seal open, and luckily, it didn't smell too overly sweet. If not, it would have felt as if I'm applying actual grapefruit on my skin instead.

VERDICT: The consistency of this product feels rich and creamy, but the texture is really light. It instantly dissolves and melts into my skin right immediately upon application. And to be honest, I've been religiously using this for quite a while now, but I've failed to see the pores on my nose looking tightened. It's almost as if I'm just applying moisturizer that is intended for the nose area.

Despite scientific research claiming that grapefruit helps in acne and pimple related skin issues, I actually didn't see much of a difference before, after and using this product at all. And I even took the trouble to religiously use it as soon as I feel any acne/pimple making a special appearance.

But then, I do have to be content with the fact that it didn't aggravate my already somewhat sensitive skin and made the acne/pimple even more troublesome to deal with. In fact, it's almost as if there's no significant improvement after using this product. Almost to the point that I simply stopped using it after a month of zero and negative results at all.

VERDICT:

WHAT I THINK: Other non nose-pore tightening products probably worked better than this one.

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: None for redemption at any Beauté Spring retail outlets in Singapore. There's not a Singapore-base Facebook page in sight either. You literally have to make a trip or a phone call to the nearest Beauté Spring outlet near you and enquire for the products.

Monthly Topic #16: Romance Feng Shui

Feng Shui master, Lilian Too (author of The llustrated Encyclopedia of Feng Shui) teaches us how to get the romantic winds blowing our way. The part of your home which represents love is in the southwest corner. Determine which way your main door faces, by using a compass. From there, you can decide which is the southwest corner. If this corner has good feng shui, the marriage and love aspirations of the household will be positively energised. How do you energise your love corner? Try one of these suggestions.

~Image Source: Lucky Path Feng Shui~

Natural crystals: Particularly those that are harmonious with the southwest sector, such as ra amethyst, quartz and cornelian. To make the crystals more potent, combine them with lights. Artificial lead crystals in the form of paperweights are equally effective.

Large earthen jars or pots: In any rounded shape are great for southwest corners. Place peacock feathers or flowers (artificial or fresh) into the jars. Note that you should never put dried or dead flowers into the jars as they represent the failure and death of a relationship.

A globe: Which is symbolic of Mother Earth will also stimulate the corner well. “Activate” it daily by giving the globe a spin. This creates yang energy that will help to balance the yin energy of the southwest corner.

Lights: It is important to keep the southwest corner of your home well-lit. Lights are a potent feng shui tool that are used to prevent the energy from becoming stale.

Pebbles: Place the pebbles in a shallow glass or crystal bowl and fill it with water. Sprinkle some flowers onto the water and place a floating candle in the centre of the bowl. This arrangement combines a variety of elements and the ritual of lightning the candle daily will attract vital energy to the corner.

A red love knot: This special knot is constructed so that it does not seem to have an end and appears to go on forever – which was why Chinese ladies of yore used it as a symbol of undying love. It will create loads of romantic energy when placed in the southwest corner. If you don't know how to tie this knot yourself, just buy a pre-tied one from local Chinese department stores.

Montagne Jeunesse Strawberry Soufflé Moisturizing & Purifying Mask Review

WHAT IS IT: Montagne Jeunesse Strawberry Souffle Moisturizing & Purifying Mask
Montagne Jeunesse Strawberry Soufflé Moisturizing & Purifying Mask

THE PRODUCT(S):
Montagne Jeunesse Strawberry Soufflé Moisturizing & Purifying Mask
Montagne Jeunesse Strawberry Soufflé Moisturizing & Purifying Mask: Cleanse your skin with Strawberry Soufflé face masque as part of your regime for a purified, toned smooth complexion. Loaded with natural goodness which leaves skin hydrated and refreshed allow your skin to breathe with soothing Aloe Vera & calming Vanilla. Experience the sensation of sheer Strawberry delight and enjoy deep cleansed, healthier skin.

Montagne Jeunesse Strawberry Soufflé Moisturizing & Purifying Mask
Looks creamy and rich, but when applied, it has the right consistency of a clay mask. Best recommended to apply just before going for a shower or bath for easy rinse-off without the fuss and messiness.

VERDICT: This face mask has the right consistency that is regular/typical of clay mask, and although it looks creamy, I personally find that it doesn't take too much effort to apply onto my face. Instead, I relish the moment when I apply such yummy smelling mask. The color itself is a very pale pink color that comes with a sweet and refreshing strawberry fruity scent and applying this mask is just simply pure bliss.

Usage of this mask is basically pain-free and idiot-proof as well. First of all, you need to cleanse your face well of all dirt, grime, make-up, etc. Next, apply this mask and let it sit on your skin for a good 15-20 minutes or at least until it dries up a little before rinsing it off. I personally recommend using mask(s) like this prior to shower or bathing, especially if you find water dripping along your arms, off your elbows and onto the floor. Rinsing it off inside the bathroom during shower/bath is best as you don't need to worry about unnecessary spillage or splashing onto the floor.

After using this mask, I find my skin/face feeling so cleansed, refreshed and feeling oh-so-nourished. Personally, I find this face mask gentle, so I am guessing that those of you sweethearts out there should be able to use this if you have really sensitive skin that cannot tolerate skin/face masks that gives off that tingly and pricking sensation upon and after application. And despite the product I used is a sample sized sachet, I found that it is more than sufficient to use it on your face and up to the chin/neck area with slightly more to spare.

And even after a few days after usage, I found that I have no side-effects on my skin since all Montagne Jeunesse masks are vegetarian and animal-friendly which promises no bunny bashing or bits of animals in it. I just love products that are animal-cruelty free, and I personally wouldn't mind spending a little more on products that do no harm to animals, big or small

VERDICT: ✓✓✓

WHAT I THINK: No bunny bashing? Checked. No animal bits seen or felt? Checked. Gentle on skin yet cleanses, refreshes and nourishes? Checked. I;m definitely going to hunt down more variations of Montagne Jeunesse masks to try out.

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: Sadly, I couldn't find their Singapore-based facebook page. But what I do recalled is that, Guardian and Watsons are retailing travel-size packs around S$2, so, it's reasonable to buy a few and try them out.

Why not like my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PuNiaosProductReviews to be informed of latest samples I found, which is duly updated? Also includes updates to health, beauty & lifestyle tips at least once a day. It will definitely save you the trouble of having to hunt them down :)

Samples Received/Redeemed: March/April 2014

My humble apologies for not blogging anything here in the past 2 months as I was a little too tired and exhausted from all the hectic activity from work and at home as I was also actively trying to re-arrange my room due to samples being stashed here and there ^^;

It's not easy being a samples blogger since samples are the main priority here at this blog, and it didn't help that my unhealthy obsession with shower gels are literally spilling out of my regular storage spaces. It's not that I'm using it slow, but as the saying goes, a little goes a long way. Squeezing so much out for a short bath session just simply screamed "wastage", so a little is used. And at the same time, I kept stocking up on more shower gels that it definitely looked like I'm a really slow user.

Anyways, I didn't get much samples for the month of March and April, hence another sudden decision to just combine these 2 months together in one post instead of dragging it out into 2 posts. Along the way, I'll add a sample authorization letter up on my Facebook page for easy access to anyone who needs it to collect prizes won for 2 accounts. Back to the main issue, here's a look at the samples I've received and redeemed for the past 2 months~

Peripera
Previously, I did a Sponsored Review on a Peripera product and also got to know that the Watsons flagship store at Takashimaya are selling assorted Peripera products. Hence I decided to go forth and check out what other Peripera products are on offer.

I ended up getting the Peri's Tint Marker in Pink Shade and Peri's Tint Water in Cherry Juice 1. Loving those 2 shades as the the Tint Marker is in a lovely shade of pink that just isn't too overly pink at all while the Tint Water is just way too easy to apply. Both shades doesn't shade off that fast, able to last up to 6+ hours in total before having to re-apply again due to wear-and-wipe issues. And by wear-and-wipe issues, I meant "go for break, wipe mouth and tint color off" kinda scenario LOL

Along the way, I got the Nivea Body Lotion In-Shower Skin Conditioner and a Veet Hair Removal Cream since my previous one is running low already.

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: No samples up for grabs, but you can try and see the shade from the display items instead.

Home-Fix
E-cover was previously hosting a sampling giveaway and since I somehow missed out on the previous few due to the collection location, I decided to go for this one as I intended to go to Watsons Takashimaya for the Peripera products and Ion Orchard was one of the collection outlets listed. The sample I redeemed is a Ecover Lemon and Aloe Vera Washing-Up Liquid (100ml). Apparently, it stated that one squeeze is enough for a sink full of dirty dishes which I took it to meant 1 or 2 drops.

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: Sampling activity is over. However, Ecover has already ran a few sampling activity for their newly launched similar products, so I am guessing that if the sales are not good or if people are too hesitant to try something new, they will run another sampling giveaway to introduce their new products to even more people to try. Meanwhile, go over to Ecover Singapore facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/EcoverSG and Like their page as a fan to be notified and imformed of future sampling activities :D

Vitamin.sg
Vitamin.sg was previously hosting a contest giveaway, I ended up forgotting the mechanics, but then I wasn't happy with the prize I won, so I tried again on a secondary FB account, albeit under my mother's name and won something different. And just as I was fretting over how to collect prizes meant for 2 persons, I belatedly realized something. I can just print out a authorization letter and get my mother to sign up. That epic fail moment of mine LOL

Anyway, I managed to redeemed both set of prizes together. They are:

  • on-Acidic Ester-C 500 MG: 60 Capsules
  • Stazen Spirulina Pacifica: 400 Tablets
  • Stazen - Natural Astaxathin: 60 Capsules

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: Sampling contest is over. After all, I only got to know about it a mere few days before the contest ended. But you can still go over to Vitamin.sg Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/vitaminsg and Like their page as a fan to be informed of any upcoming contests and giveaways.

Just a note: The collection location was a pain in the arse to get to, literally and figuratively. I felt like I was being slowly baked to perfection under the hot sun and the occasional breeze wasn't helping much D:

Pfizer
Pfizer previously had a survey where participants can receive a CapitaMall voucher. It's not the first time they did the survey and reward activity, but it's a little erratic on how often they do this since it's not tagged to any upcoming public holidays or whatsoever.

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: Redemption is over. Although I would suggest to keep a close lookout under the Sponsored ads section, just under your FB requests and beside the statuses section.

La Roche-Posay
The Sample Store had some new Sponsored samples up for grabs, if I remembered correctly. But I tend to skip the ones such as toothpastes since I'm also a darn slow user of toothpastes. I probably have enough in my stash to last up to 2 or 3 years without having the need to buy one for now. The sample I redeemed is the La Roche-Posay 30 SPF Aqua Fresh Gel, I received 2 sample sachets with each sachet at 2ml.

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: This sample has been fully redeemed. But my suggestion is this, check the "Sponsored Samples" tab over at The Sample Store website at least once or twice a week. As "Sponsored Samples" doesn't cost anything, not even postage fee to send out, certain samples get redeemed pretty fast before you know it. So, maybe a check around the middle and the end or start of the week to see if anything new is up for grabs.

NeoStrata
Frankly speaking, I can't recall where I got this sample from, but it could be from the "Sponsored Samples" tab over at The Sample Store website. Anyway, the sample received is the NeoStrata Triple Firming Neck Cream, it's one sample sachet at 2g.

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: Sampling activity is over.

Seven Seas
I got this Seven Seas Jointcare sample previously. It supposedly helps maintain supple and flexible joints, and consists of 20 capsules.

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: I'm not sure if the sampling activity is over, but you can still give it a try. Go over to JointCare R&R Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/JointCareRnR and Like their page as a fan first. Next, look for the Like It Live It tab, after which you just need to click on the Redeem Sample tab in the page. Fill in your details and wait for the sample to arrive in your mailbox.

The Sample Store previously had several Sponsored samples up for grabs, needless to say, I grabbed most of them since I was able to do so without restrictions.

The Sample Store
First up, the Cure Natural Aqua Gel sample is synonymous with exfoliating lovers out there. It's expensive, but natural. And did I mentioned that you have to use it fast after opening the bottle as it doesn't last long?

The Sample Store
This sample sachet is 3g in weight and can last enough for a one-time use if you were to use it not only on your face, but all over your body or whichever part of your body needs exfoliation.

The Sample Store
Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion at 9ml. Just as well, my previous samples are starting to run low too xD

The Sample Store
W.H.I.T.E Complex CC Cream at 10ml. To be honest, I haven't been using any BB or CC creams for the past 6 months as I found out that it clogs my pores, and leaves streak marks, it's a miracle how on earth I applied it to make the streak marks visible despite following traditional BB and CC Cream application methods. Could be the sebum though, I'm guessing ^^;

The Sample Store
Hada Labo Cleansing Oil with High Purity Olive Oil, 5 sample sachets each weighing 3ml. 1 sample sachet is enough to clear off 1 or 2 days worth of full facial make-up, and because it is oil, you need not have to use too much in the first place.

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: All these fore-mentioned sponsored samples have been fully redeemed, except for the Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion.

Vital Greens
Vital Greens Singapore was previously holding a sampling activity over at their Facebook page. And right after I shared the link, I had a few of my page members PM me their mailing address... Oh well, I rectify the issue as soon as I found out. Anyway, I received 10 packs of Vital Greens, each weighing 5g. The usage is almost similar to collagen powder, mix it with a drink or sprinkle on your favorite food and nom it up.

In truth, I'm a picky vegetable eater. I just don't like celery, no matter how you cook it. I hate stir-fried capsicums, but if it were to be cooked in pasta or grilled, I'd happily eat everything up xD

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: Sample redemption is over. But if you are gung-ho enough to want to wait for the next sampling activity, go over to Vital Greens Singapore Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/VitalGreensSingapore and Like their page as a fan to be updated and informed of upcoming contests and sampling activity.

From Work
Lord know who went all out and got these, but majority of full-time female staffs at my work place got this. The goodies I found inside were:

  • QV Gentle Wash: 15g
  • QV Skin Lotion: 15ml
  • QV Face Moisturizing Day Cream: 10g
  • QV Gentle Cleanser: 15g
  • Endometriosis Awareness Campaign SmartPhone Charm Plug

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: Not a clue. I was given this randomly as soon as I stepped into my workplace LOL

MyCarForum
MyCarForum was previously hosting a giveaway of some sort, I just randomly tried and got myself a Car Grip Mat. Luckily, it's just a Car Grip Mat and nothing bigger for actual car usage since I don't have a car ^^ But on the contrary, I have my left "kah" and right "kah" though~

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: Contest giveaway is over.

Another bout of freebies/samples from The Sample Store. Seems like they're on a roll now, as new Sponsored Samples are popping up every now and then. I got kinda spooked and ended up checking the website once a day just to be sure not to miss out on any free-postage samples ^^;

The Sample Store
First up is this Hiruscar gel sample, weighing at 7g. Supposedly helps to soften and smoothen hard scars, such as surgery scars, accident scars, burn scars, pimple scars as well as stretch marks. Gonna try it on my current pimple scars that has been forever-in-eruption on my left cheek..

The Sample Store
Essential has a new product, can you guess what it is?

The Sample Store
It's called the Essential Sleeping Hair Mask, weighing at 3ml per sample sachet. Can last from a week to 1.5 or 2 weeks in total, since not much is needed for application in the first place.

WHERE TO REDEEM SAMPLE: Sample redemption is over. It was pretty much cleared out as soon as the sample went up.

Why not like my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PuNiaosProductReviews to be informed of latest samples I found, which is duly updated? Also includes updates to health, beauty & lifestyle tips at least once a day. It will definitely save you the trouble of having to hunt them down :)
