The scrub formula, with salicylic acid and exfoliating particles, deeply cleanse impurities, tighten pores and help protect against the appearance of imperfections.

Enriched with extracts of grapefruit, pomegranate and a derivative of vitamin C, the invigorating fresh fragrance washes over your face with a fruity burst. It effectively cleanses whilst giving skin a boosting radiance. Intensely purified & exfoliated, your skin looks revitalised, more beautiful and your complexion radiant.

It comes in a gel-based facial scrub with little exfoliating beads, gentle enough to use on a daily basis.

Suds easy, and yet the suds doesn't make my skin dry out as I expected it to. Instead, the citrus scent acts as a perk-me-up in the morning when I'm still half dead to the world.

VERDICT: I love how the citrus scent explodes your smell and senses as soon as you squeezed out a decent amount to cleanse your face. I am generally a sucker for fruit scented facial products as I love how these fruit scent wake up my senses in the morning. And let's face it, it's either take a cold shower or use a fruit-based facial cleanser to do the waking up part, and I am definitely not the self-torture-by-cold-shower type of person. Hence, out with that cold shower and in with the this citrus scented facial cleanser instead.

And I particularly love the fact that despite it having micro exfoliating beads in it, it is actually gentle enough to use on a daily basis. I'm sure most of us are aware that over-exfoliating our skin doesn't help it, instead it might make our already thin and fragile skin look worse. But not with this Garnier Pure Active Fruit Energy Daily Energising Gel Scrub. I've been using it for a week or so, and so far, my new pimples are generally more well-behaved already and there are definitely signs of the pimple taking it's natural course of action.

And along the way, I also noticed my skin color looks slightly much more better than before. Previously, I used to have this unsightly yellowish tint to my skintone, almost as if I am ill or sick. But now, I love the fact that the yellowish-sallow looking skintone is gone, instead replaced by my skin's natural fiarness. And to top it off, there's a natural blush on my cheeks too. This ultimately means less powder blush to be applied on my skin, as compared to my previous skintone, where I have to slap on a decent layer of BB Cream, followed by more blush color so as not to spook any innocent humans at night.

My only grouse is that, it takes quite an effort to wash off the facial cleanser after I am done with the "oohing" and "aahing" at the scent and the exfoliating beads that exfoliates my skin gently. Let's just say, I can safely ignore this setback since this cleanser contains anti-inflammatory agents that helpfully reduce skin irritation and at the same time contains Salicylic Acid which my skin is urgently in need of to show newer skin underneath xD

WHAT I THINK: Fresh citrus fruity scent is a godsend on mornings when I am still a sleepwalking zombie.
